Polymarket completes its US return
Polymarket is once again taking US traders after acquiring a regulated derivatives exchange, though state-level questions remain.

Polymarket has finished the last stage of its return to the United States, routing American traders through the regulated exchange it acquired rather than its offshore order books.
For US traders the practical difference is identity verification and dollar funding instead of on-chain USDC. Market selection is narrower at launch, with politics, macro and sports contracts arriving in stages.
Outside the US nothing changes: the crypto-funded version of the exchange continues to serve most countries, with the same restricted list we track on each country guide.
