CRSHMARKET has raised $3.5 million in seed capital led by venture firm 6MV to develop its livestream-focused prediction market platform.
PredictionSites Newsroom · 3 November 2026
Livestream-oriented prediction market operator CRSHMARKET has completed a $3.5 million (£2.8 million) seed funding round, with venture capital firm 6MV leading the investment.
The project is developing an event-trading ecosystem designed around live video broadcasts, seeking to integrate real-time media streams with interactive outcome trading. Under such models, market participants can buy and sell positions tied to live occurrences as they develop on camera, creating rapid settlement cycles and immediate viewer interaction.
Prediction markets function by allowing participants to trade contracts that represent the probability of specific future events. Prices fluctuate in response to supply and demand, with shares typically resolving to full value if an outcome materialises and zero if it does not. Whilst traditional platforms have historically focused on political races, economic indicators, and sports fixtures, emerging formats are increasingly exploring micro-events and social media streams to attract retail traders.
The backing from 6MV highlights sustained venture appetite for platforms attempting to combine digital content creation with financial speculation. Further details regarding CRSHMARKET's technical architecture, underlying network infrastructure, and regulatory roadmap have yet to be publicly elaborated following the seed announcement.
